i realized two days ago that my la nuit is a 2014 batch. i only checked because of all the batch talk and i bought mine from overstock years ago. this 2014 batch still doesnt perform great. therefor, all that batch talk is just blown out of proportion. i find that ysl just never lasts long. no matter the frag or year After 2.5 years of painful search for the old formulation bottle of YSL La nuit de l'Homme i finally found a full 100ml new bottle!! The latter batch is far softer/more rounded and lasts marginally less. It doesn't have the atrocious longevity that some seem to suggest.Is a current batch of La Nuit De L'Homme worth it? I have owned the original release, a 2014-2015 offering, and currently own 2 different batches from late 2016 I got in a gift set (1x100ml and 1x30ml). The original without question is stronger, fuller bodied, and has superior longevity to any of the other offerings I have smelled/purchased since. The batch I liked the most out of all was one of the 2014 collector's edition (the black one with the white stripes) - don't know if L'Oreal put some extra effort into it.
