As you can see, this new clasp has seen a bit of desk diving and other action over the pas year. The watch itself is a beauty. I love how the AR makes the crystal disappear under most lighting conditions. The dial is gorgeous: matte textured, applied indices with tons of lume, and just a small hint of orange. Planet Ocean have always been one of the most underrated watch in Omega's lineup. It is mostly overshadowed by it's older brother (because it was released first), the Seamaster, and it's famous cousin that went to the moon - The Speedmaster. The lug width on this 39.5 mm watch is 19 mm. This is such an awkward measurement, but it’s not a deal-breaker because nowadays there are quite a few aftermarket options, and even Omega offers a good selection of very well .
