I know its not for everyone, and agree it brings back the over exuberance of the 80s, but why do so many Rolex enthusiasts hate it since it was such a great part of DD history?
I have read many comments on how Rolex owners and collectors love or hate the Tridor. Sometimes known as the marmite watch. Thoughts on this Tridor? I love the flatter satin-like champagne dial and the bracelet but hate the diamonds. I know I can ask the RSC to swap out the dial - anyone know what that might do to the resale value? It would go down I assume but also diamond dials also depress the resale right now. I was under the impression day-dates never came in anything but a solid precious metal (all plat, all YG, all WG etc etc). You would be correct after some digging. Rolex Tridor.
